Introductions - BookWormC
Hi, everyone! My name is BookWormC! I am 15 years old (which is why I'm not sharing my full name😁), a homeschool sophomore, and I am super excited to participate in NoQu this year!
Hmm.... I have a LOT of favorite books! Some include:
Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury
Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austin
Anything by Melanie Dickerson
My favorite genres include Romance and Historical Fiction.
Writing isn't actually something I enjoy very much. However, because I like challenges and reading, I though I would participate in NaNoWriMo last year. (Also because my mom let me skip some school writing assignments if I did it:D) The novel ended up being only 14,568 words long, but I was very proud of it! As it was getting closer to November, I was looking around for an alternative to NaNoWriMo, so when I found this, I knew I had to sign up!
My project this year is to write an entire book (or should I call it an encylopedia!) about WWII. It'll have biographies of all the major generals, accounts of all the battles, and stuff like that. I'm not sure if I'll be able to write the entire 49,999 words, but I will certainly try!
It is only fitting that I end my introduction with my favorite Bible verse, Romans 8:38-39.
"For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
I love that you're using this for school work - good for you! I'm actually in the middle of Pride and Prejudice - maybe your reminder of it will give me the push I need to finish! Good to meet you, and good luck on your project :)
