G'day everyone! Very happy to have found this little community. (This is mostly a repost of what I already had on the forums but just wanted to say here I am! 👋😄)

Name/nickname: I'm Jess aka The Inky Baroness from Australia.

Three of your favorite books: The Lord of the Rings by Tolkien, A Tale of Two Cities by Dickens, and anything Jeeves & Wooster.

Your favorite genre(s): Scifi, contemporary, historical, & detective fiction, plus weird multi-genre-bending stuff that doesn't fit anywhere else.

How/why you got into writing: Been making up stories and random characters ever since I was five years old! The urge to write and create and dream up fantastical worlds has never left me. I'm also a massive linguistics nerd -- fun fact, I invented a fictional language for reindeer and called it 'Poro'.

Tell us about your NoQu project: A novella about three kids living in an AI-dominated future, who discover books for the first time and decide to write a play about King Arthur...they probably won't get in trouble from the Principal, right? Or the government. Or the censorship boards....

While dystopian-flavoured, it's mostly a reflection on the infinite well of human creativity and a tribute to the joys of writing and reading. :)
