Hi! I'm Ariel, or Archer. I'm a long-time author, as well as a freelance line editor and worldbuilding mentor—though I'm currently on sabbatical from most of my outward-facing work to focus on family now that my husband and I have our first "little arrow." I look forward to getting back to publishing, editing, putting out courses, etc., but we'll see how long God calls for this sabbatical to last! In the meantime, I'm enjoying this opportunity He's given me to focus on those He's placed close to home.

Even though I'm not publishing, I am still putting some work into writing projects in the background, with a lot less pressure and without the deadlines. This NoQu I don't have one specific project in mind, but I do have a couple that I expect will crop up, including efforts to strengthen the worldbuilding for an epic fantasy trilogy I started several years ago and rewriting the second book of the sci-fi duology I had top-of-mind before the sabbatical.

My top three favorite books are so hard to choose, but right now I think they're probably The Lord of the Rings, the Out of Time trilogy by Nadine Brandes, and the Scorch trilogy by Bethany Meyer.
