Introduction- OtterRMS
Howdy. I’m Otter, or OtterRMS. Everyone’s creepy weird friend that lurks in the background because she’s not much for social media…
I am obsessed with history (all aspects but particularly ancient egypt, and war history), spooky things (folklore, cryptozoology, true crime, murder mysteries and gothic novels, forensic science, etc), and about a thousand other things I’m forgetting I’m sure. Basically if you ever have weird questions about something creepy or historical I’m your girl.
I am currently working on editing the second draft of a christian, gothic horror, sci-fi mix of a book. It’s going both awesome and horrible all at the same time. The book is very close to home and involves my own personal growth but also I forgot how grueling editing and the just parsing of words part of writing a book is. To be fair, I had writer’s block for the last few years so I knew it’d be grueling I just hadn’t done it in a while so I forgot exactly how much that can be… Hopefully draft two will be done by this December and I can torture myself with draft three in 2026…
I so relate to "It's going both awesome and horrible at the same time" - lolol. That's exactly how I feel about my story. So good to meet you! :) :)
