Hi Everyone! I'm so excited to have found you guys because I'm on the hunt for a writing group (or even just a couple of writer buddies!) who are more aligned with my Christian/Conservative values, since the kind of culture we create in the world by putting our writing out into it matters. I'm Hannah - I feel like a late bloomer to my writing career, but I think I'm actually right on time for God's purposes in it :D I'm 37, and have been writing "seriously" for only the last two years and some months. But I have loved writing ever since I could hold a pencil, and *have* been writing since then, just not prioritizing it or calling myself a writer. You know. But now I am, and it's been amazing. I don't read as much as I'd like to (raising young children over here), but recently super enjoyed Bethany Atazadeh's Stolen Kingdom series. The Name of the Wind is a favorite! Annnd... Hmmm... OH, all time favorite is Ella Enchanted. I have been working on my first-novel-that-I-really-am-going-to-finish for these last 2 yrs + some months and really-am-almost-finished, lol. I'm going to use the challenge to finish it!! It's a princess must save her father story, set on a glow-in-the-dark island (wow, all the dashes hahaha), with dragons, a dashing smuggler, great best friend, and evil uncle sorcerer (but shh, you're not supposed to know that until the end). I don't remember what else I am supposed to share, but just want you all to know this has already brought me so much joy and I appreciate each of you and can't wait to get to know you a little better!
